Medley Arts Camp – Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What ages can come to Medley?

A:  We welcome kids, teens & adults, ages 6 to infinity. Seniors and Grandparents are always awesome. Young children (under 6 years) must have a parent or guardian with them at all times, or be enrolled in our Supervised Play program, if available.  Please check availability.

Q: How Much Does Medley Cost?

A: Prices for each course are shown with the course descriptions. Courses are 1 1/4 hours per day for four or five days. (Morning courses are five days, afternoons are four days, with a performance/sharing time on Friday afternoon.) Prices per course are $13 per day for children, and $15 to $20 per day for adults. (There may be art supplies or other costs as well.) You may sign up for just one course, or up to four courses. A full slate of four courses per day for children costs less than $250 for a full  week of programming.  Lunch is available for an added reasonable cost, or you may bring your own lunch.

Q: Is there any financial help available?

Q: Where can I stay while I’m at camp?

Q: Can I come just part time?

A: Yes. You can register for any of the courses separately. If courses are full, full time students will have the first choice.

Q: Can I bring my pet?

A: Sorry, but no pets are allowed on site… not even little well behaved dogs.

Q: Do I need to bring a musical instrument?

A: Marimbas are supplied, and Ukuleles.  For other courses, you must bring your own instrument. If you have another musical instrument that you would like to bring, please do so – spontaneous lunchtime “jams” may break out.

Q. What can I do when I’m not at camp?

A: You have come to one of British Columbia’s premier vacation destinations, with magnificent scenery and uncrowded hiking trails, swimming, boating, camping, wildlife viewing, golfing, or just lying on the beach. Crawford Bay is home to a group of talented artisans that you can watch at work, then browse the shops for something special to take home.
